OCTOBER 2020

1a. Amy Bunch: “My husband and I have been preparing for our first baby due in December (a girl!). My sewing room has been converted to the nursery and I’ve been trying to finish up some UFOs and bust my stash. But in doing so I only discovered more amazing fabrics and new ideas for things I wanted to create!”
1b. Amy Bunch: “I made this quilt for my new nephew born in August.”
1c. Amy Bunch: “Thanksgiving appliqué wall hanging- trying out some new things with the Dresden’s!”
2. Kay Thomas: “This a cat panel I finally got pieced.”
3a. Judy Goldthorpe: “The pattern is called Judy in Arabia, which I loved, since my name is Judy. I have saved flannel from grandchildren's pajamas for the last 10 years and used that to make each block. There are 49 blocks and each one has a memory of pajamas made with that fabric. The back is 12 inch squares made from more flannel. I used a flannel sheet as batting. It has such a cozy feel to it.
And there is still a big box of flannel left over! Now I'm trying to think what I could make with the rest of the flannel. Probably 2 or 3 more quilts!”
